Meet The Team

So here we are. Say hello to the guys, girls and fluffy ones that make up the Coxtie Green Farm Team

Mike & Maria (aka Mum and Dad)

Mike and Maria took on the derelict farm in 2011 with no prior experience in farming. The idea was that it would be a great project to retire into, little did they know the impact they would have and the lives they would change. From day one it has been a work in progress, something that won’t change anytime soon. However, the work that has been achieved since ‘11 has been nothing short of unbelievable and a real testament to their attitude to everything in life; whatever the weather, whatever the issue, we’ll get the job done and we’ll do it well! The love and compassion they share for the animals that reside on Coxtie Green Farm is second to none, the team here truly farm from the heart.

Tom

Tom started his career trading futures for a small company after gaining a First in Finance and Economics at Bournemouth University. After three years he moved to the Oil markets and finally Investment Banking at JP Morgan before realising his true passion; to produce, source and deliver exceptional quality meat reared to the highest ethical standards. Thomas Joseph was founded with one goal - to illustrate and educate the world on how the very best meat is produced while encouraging a discerning attitude towards the food we put into our bodies. At the forefront of the butchery is transparency, it is important to understand the whole journey from field to fork and we encourage curiosity, there is no wrong question! Happy to talk (for too long probably) and answer any query you have, Tom’s passion for what he does is unparalleled.

Helen

Truly working behind the scenes, Helen is like a decathlete on the farm. We think her CV is probably 3 or 4 pages long just with skills and she’s a true asset. Able to roll up her sleeves and do anything, we’re not sure where we would be without her help!

Murphy

Our beloved Alsatian, Murphy. You’ll find him running around, trying to lick you to death. If he’s not got a ball, stick or brush in his mouth….he’s sure to find one soon and drop it at your feet. if you dare to throw it, you’ll be stuck for hours :)

Rambo

The naughty one, the little cocker spaniel with the massive dabs! Not sure that there is a cheekier dog with an insatiable appetite quite like this one. You’ll find him chasing birds, rabbits and squirrels as if his life depends on it, we think he has issues….never the less, we love him all the same!
